Habitusanalyse als Habitus-Hermeneutik

Zusammenfassung

Der Beitrag führt in eine hermeneutischrekonstruktive Methode der Milieuanalyse, ein, die an die Habitus-Feld-Theorie Bourdieus anschließt. Sie folgt einer theoretischen Perspektive, für die die Analyse und Offenlegung gesellschaftlicher Herrschaftsstrukturen und sozialer Ungleichheiten zentral ist. „Habitus-Hermeneutik“ bezeichnet dabei eine spezifische Deutungsarbeit, die es ermöglicht, sich dem Habitus empirisch anzunähern. Ziel ist es, das handlungsorganisierende Prinzip des Habitus (den modus operandi) aus der Praxis der sozialen Akteure zu erschließen und durch Rückbezug auf gesellschaftliche Teilungsprinzipien und den Bedingungen ihrer Genese verstehend zu erklären. Der Beitrag stellt die theoretisch-methodologischen Grundlagen der Methode vor, verdeutlicht die Arbeit anhand eines empirischen Beispiels und nimmt eine Verortung im Diskurs rekonstruktiv-hermeneutischer Forschungsansätze vor.

Abstract

The article introduces to a hermeneuticreconstructive method of milieu-analysis, which is based on Bourdieus habitus-fieldtheory. It follows a theoretical point of view, that puts the analysis of authority and social inequality in the focus of interest. “Habitus-Hermeneutics” means a specific interpretation, that allows to draw near the habitus by an empirical way. The aim is to explore the principle of action of habitus (“modus operandi”) out of the actors social practice and understand and explain it by referring on social divisions and the conditions of its origin. The contribution points out the theoretical and methodological principles of the method, illustrates it with an empirical example and locates it in the discours of reconstructivehermeneutic concepts.
