Open-access section “Mapping Transnationalism”
This section consists of short reports (1.500 words) in three main areas:
Transnational Social Policy and Social Work Practices: We invite practitioners, professionals and policy makers to present short reports on programmes, legislation, social work practices, concepts and institutions, which are important for a transnational perspective of social work and social policy.
Researching and Teaching Transnationalism: We welcome short descriptions of research projects, methodological reflections and curricula that take theories and methodologies of transnational studies as their starting point.
Everyday Life in a Transnational World: Experiences and Opinions: We invite short reports on everyday life experiences, e.g. those of migrants, practitioners, policy makers, scholars, and students, to report on their experiences with and within a transnationalized world.

General Guidelines
All contributions must be original and should not be simultaneously under consideration - either in whole or in part - for publication elsewhere.
All manuscripts must be submitted in English. In case of publication, it is possible to also publish a version in the language in which the paper originally was written.
Manuscripts should be submitted electronically as an email attachment.
All submissions of articles will be subject to anonymous peer review by at least two independent referees. To facilitate this anonymous refereeing, authors should ensure that neither their name nor address appears anywhere on the manuscript. The author's name, university and/or home address, telephone number, fax number and email address should be included on a covering email/letter. Where there are joint or multiple authors a principal author for purposes of editorial correspondence should be identified.
Authors of articles are required to include an abstract of their article of up to 150 words and up to six keywords, suitable for indexing and online search purposes.
